Plot beschrijving:
Het leven is goed voor Tom (Patrick Dempsey): hij is sexy, succesvol,
gewild door de vrouwen en weet dat hij altijd kan terugvallen op zijn
beste vriendin Hannah (Michelle Monaghan) met wie hij al 10 jaar
een platonische vriendschap heeft.
Alles is perfect, totdat Hannah naar Schotland gaat… Al snel komt hij erachter hoe erg hij haar mist als ze er niet is.
Zo erg zelfs dat hij zijn leven als ´serial dater´op wil geven om Hannah ten huwelijk te vragen zodra ze terugkomt uit Schotland.
Zijn plan valt echter in duigen. Hannah komt namelijk niet alleen
terug uit Schotland, maar met haar knappe Schotse verloofde.
Tot overmaat van ramp vraagt Hannah Tom haar ´Made of Honour´te
worden.
Een rol die hij niet geheel welwillend op zich neemt.
Alhoewel, het is de ideale rol om een bruiloft te saboteren en
Hannah voor zich te winnen.
